the length and breadth of a hall are twenty one three by four(21 3/4m) and eleven one by four (11 1/4m).How many tiles are required to pave the floor of a hall if the square tiles are of side three by four(3/4m) are used?PLEASE HELP IN THIS QUESTION

first we find out the area of hall=L*B
3915/16m....and find out the area of square tiles i.e (3/4)*(3/4)=9/16m square .....Now divide the area of hall and area of tiles ....=3915/16÷9/16...=495 tiles
