the length and breadth of a park are in the ratio 7:8. if length of the park is 56 metres find itx breadth?

Answer is 64

Solution

Let length be 7x and breadth = 8x
given 7x = 56
Then x = 56/7 = 8
So breadth is 8*8 = 64
