Length, l = 80m

Breadth, b = 35m

(i) Area of playground= l x b

= 80 x 35

= 2800m²

Cost of 1 m² = Rs. 4.5

Therefore, cost of 2800 m² = 4.5 x 2800

= ${\bold{Rs.12600}}$

(ii) Perimeter of the playground = 2(l + b)

= 2(80 + 35)

= 2 x 115

= 230m

Distance that the boy travels =

= 3 x perimeter

= 3 x 230

= 690m

Therefore, Time = $\frac{Distance}{Speed}$

= Time = $\frac{690}{1.5}$
