Solution:

Length of a rectangle = 12.5cm

Breadth of a rectangle = 9.5cm

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of rectangle = 12.5 × 9.5

Area of rectangle = 118.75cm²

\tt\underline{Additional\space Information}

Perimeter of a square = 4 x side

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

Area of a square = (side)²

Area of a rectangle = l × b

Area of a parallelogram = b × h

Area of a triangle = 1/2 × b × h

Area of circle = πr².

Given Information :-

The length and breadth of a rectangle are 12.5 cm and 9.5 cm respectively. Find the area of the rectangle.

  • Length of Rectangle = 12.5 cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 9.5 cm
  • Area of Rectangle = ?

Formula used :-

Area of rectangle = L × B

Where,

  • L = Length of rectangle
  • B = Breadth of rectangle

Putting all values :-

➦ Area of rectangle = 12.5 × 9.5

➦ Area of rectangle = 118.75 cm²

Henceforth, The Area of Rectangle is 118.75 cm²
