Answer:

Case 1

L= 4m

 =4x100

= 400cm

B= 80cm

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

               = 2(400+80)

               =  2x480

               = 960 cm

Area= lxb

       = 400x80

       = 32000cm^2

Case 2

L= 3m

 = 3x100 = 300cm

B= 60cm

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

                = 2(300+60)

                = 2x360 = 720 cm

Area= lxb

       = 300x60

       = 18000cm^2

Ratio of perimeter= 720/960

                             = 3/4

                             = 3:4

Ratio of area= 18000/32000

                    = 9/16

                    = 9:16

Answer:

ratio of perimeter =28 : 21

ratio of area = 16 : 9

Step-by-step explanation:

length and breadth of a rectangle are 4 m and 80 cm

so,

perimeter = 2(l+b)

= 2(4+80) =2 × 84 = 168

area = l × b

= 4 × 80 = 320

length and breadth of another rectangle are 3 m and 60 cm

perimeter = 2(3+ 60)

=2× 63 = 126

area = 3×60

=180

now,

ratio of perimeter of both rectangle = 168 : 126

= 28 : 21

ratio of area of both rectangle = 320 : 180

= 16 : 9
