length of the rectangle=6cm
breadth of the rectangle=4cm
area of the rectangle=(6×4) cm square
=24cm square

area of a triangle=(3×24)=72cm square
we know that area of triangle=1/2×base×height

72=1/2×6× h
=h=24cm

HOPE THIS HELPS A LOT.

The height (h) of the triangle =24cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The length of the rectangle(l) = 6 cm, the breadth of the rectangle(b) = 4 cm and base of the triangle(b) = 6 cm

To, find height (h) of the triangle = ?

We know that,

Area of the rectangle = l × b square units

∴ Area of the rectangle = 6 × 4 = 24 cm^{2}

According to given condition,

Area of a triangle = 3 × Area of the rectangle

∴ Area of a triangle = 3 ×24 = 72 cm^{2}

Also, we know that ,

Area of triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} \times base(b)\times height(h)

\dfrac{1}{2} \times 6\times height(h)=72

3\times height(h)=72

height(h)=\dfrac{72}{3} =24cm

Hence, the height (h) of the triangle =24cm.
