The length and breadth of a rectangle are 80cm and 15cm .find its perimeter and area of the rectangle

Given:

• Length of the rectangle = 80 cm

• Breadth of the rectangle = 15 cm.

To find :

• perimeter and Area of the rectangle .

Solution :

As we know that:

• perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b)

=> perimeter = 2 ( 80 + 15)

=> perimeter = 2 ( 95 )

=> perimeter = 190 cm .

• Area of the rectangle = l×b

=> Area = (80×15)

=> Area = 1200 cm² .

Hence , the perimeter of the rectangle is 190 cm and Area us 1200 cm².
