We have :-

  • Length of rectangle = a² + ab + b²
  • Breadth of rectangle = a – b

To find :-

  • find the Area of Rectangle .

Formula used :-

  • Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth .

Solution :-

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth .

Put the values of Length and Breadth in the formula we get :-

Area of Rectangle = ( a² + ab + b² )( a – b )

= a³ – a²b + a²b – ab² + ab² – b³

= a³ – b³

here, (a²b) and (+a²b) will cancelled also (– ab²) and (+ ab²) will also cancelled .

Concept :-

  • (–) + (–) = (–)
  • (–) + (+) = (–)
  • (+) + (+) = (+)
  • (+) + (–) = (–)

Hence, Area of Rectangle is .

Answer:

Length of rectangle = a² + ab + b²

Breadth of rectangle = a – b

To find :-

find the Area of Rectangle .

Formula used :-

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth .

Put the values of Length and Breadth in the formula we get :-

Area of Rectangle = ( a² + ab + b² )( a – b )

= a³ – a²b + a²b – ab² + ab² – b³

= a³ – b³

here, (–a²b) and (+a²b) will cancelled also (– ab²) and (+ ab²) will also cancelled .

Concept :-

+1-1 = 0 therefore -x+x = 0

Hence, Area of Rectangle is a³ – b³.
