Answer:

3750m

Step-by-step explanation:

let length be 3x

let breadth be 2x

perimeter = 2(l+b)

250= 2(3x+2x)

250/2 = 5x

125 = 5x

so, x= 125/5

x = 25

l= 3×25 = 75m

b= 2×25= 50m

Area = l×b = 75× 50 = 3750m

Given :-

  • ratio of length and breadth = 3:2
  • Perimeter = 250 m

To find :-

  • What is the area of rectangle?

Solution :-

let the Length of a rectangle field be 3x and breadth of a rectangle field be 2x.

Perimeter250 m

As we know ,

  • Perimeter ↠ 2( l + b )

where,

l = 'length'

b = 'breadth'

⇒ P = 2 ( 3x + 2x )

Now putting the values, we get

⇒250 ↠ 6x + 4x

⇒ 250 ↠ 10x

⇒ x ↠ 250/10

x 25

Now put the the value of x

⇒ l = 3x = 3 × 25 ↠ 75 m

⇒ b = 2x = 2 × 25 ↠ 50 m

Now we find the area of rectangle

As we know the formula

  • Area of rectangle = length × breadth

⇒ A = 75 × 50

⇒ A = 3750 sq.m

hence, the area of rectangle field is 3750 sq.m
