Let the length be 13x and breadth be 7x.

Area of rectangle = 2275 cm²

By formula,

Area of rectangle =l×b

2275=13x×7x

2275=91x²

x²=2275/91=25

x=5

Length=13x=13×5=65

Breadth=7x=7×5=35

Hope it helps.

Given, ratio of length and breadth of the rectangle  13 : 7 .

          area of the rectangle = 2275 cm^2

Let,

   length of the rectangle = 13 a

   breadth of the rectangle = 7 a

We know that the area of rectangle is length x breadth

Therefore, 13 a x 7 a = 2275 cm^2

= > 13 x 7 x a x a = 2275 cm^2

= > 91 a^2 = 2275 cm^2

= > a^2 = 2275 / 91 cm^2

= > a^2 =  ( 25cm )^2

= > a = 5 cm

Now,

Length of the rectangle = 13a

                                        = 13 x 5 cm

                                        = 65 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 7a

                                          = 7 x 5 cm

                                          = 35 cm

Thus,

length of the rectangle is 65 cm and breadth of the rectangle is 35 cm
