let, the length=3x

the breadth = 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=2(3x+2x)

=6x+4x=10

=10x=10

= x= 10/10

= x=1

length= 3cm (b)

perimeter of given rectangle=10cm

length =3x

breadth=2x

10cm=2(3x+2x)

10cm=2(5x)

10cm=10x

x=10/10

x=1

length=3x=3*1=3cm
