Given that : length and breadth of rectangle are in the ratio 4:3.

Let length of rectangle be 4X and breadth of rectangle be 3X cm respectively.

_____________________________

Diagonal of rectangle = 25

✓(Length)² + (Breadth)² = 25

✓(4X)² + (3X)² = 25

√(25X)² = 25

5X = 25

X = 5 cm.

Length of rectangle = 4X = 4 × 5 = 20 cm.

And,

Breadth of rectangle = 3X = 3 × 5 = 15 cm.

______________________________

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

=> 2 ( 20 + 15 ) cm

=> 2 × 35

=> 70 cm.

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

ATQ, the length and breadth of the rectangle are in ratio 4 : 3

let the length be 4x and breadth be 3x.

therefore √[(4x)² + (3x)²] = 25

==> √(16x²+9x²) = 25

==> √25x² = 25

==> 5x = 25

==> x = 25/5

==> x = 5

therefore length of the rectangle = 4x = 4 × 5 = 20cm.

and breadth of the rectangle = 3x = 3 × 5 = 15cm.

hence, perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 20 + 15 )

= 2 × 35

= 70cm

hope this helps..!!
