Given

Length and breadth of Rectangle are in the ratio 3:1

Breadth is 7cm

To Find

length of the Rectangle

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

length and breadth are given in ratio so, a variable must be put along with constant values to show that they are in ratio.

Therefore ,3:4 becomes 3x &4x respectively.

Let the length of the Rectangle be 3x

breadth of the rectangle be x

If x is 7 ,then 3x =3×7=21 cm

∴Length of the Rectangle is 21 cm

Extra solved =>

Area of Rectangle=length ×breadth

=21×7

=147cm²

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(length+breadth)

=2(21+7)

=2(28)

=56cm
