If the sum of the areas of the square and the
rectangle is 94 cm?, find x.

Let the length l=5x

and the breadth b=4x

Now, perimeter =2(l+b)=90cm

2(5x+4x)=90

2(9x)=90

18x=90

x=5

Therefore, Length l=5x=25cm

and the breadth b=4x=20cm
