Answer :-

  • The perimeter of rectangle = 66cm.
  • The area of rectangle = 272cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • The perimeter of rectangle
  • The area of rectangle

Solution:

Given that,

  • Length = 17cm
  • Breadth = 16cm

Therefore,

  • The perimeter :

As we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b),

Where,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth

=> 2(l+b)

=> [ 2(17+16) ]cm

=> [ 2(33) ]cm

=> 66cm

Hence, The perimeter of rectangle is 66cm.

Now,

  • The area :

As we know that,

Area of rectangle = lb,

Where,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth

=> l × b

=> ( 17cm × 16cm )

=> ( 17 × 16 ) cm²

=> 272cm².

Hence, The area of rectangle is 272cm².

Given :-

  • Length of the Rectangle = 17cm
  • Breadth of the Rectangle = 16cm

 \\

To Find :-

  • Area of the Rectangle
  • Perimeter of the Rectangle

 \\

Solution :-

❏ As we know that, Area of Rectangle is given by L × B and Perimeter of Rectangle is given by 2 ( L + B ) where L and B stands for Length and Breadth respectively.

Putting the Values :

➞ Area of Rectangle = L × B

➞ Area of Rectangle = 17 × 16

➞ Area of Rectangle = 272cm²

________________

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( 17 + 16 )

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 33

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 66cm

________________

Therefore :

  • Area of Rectangle = 272cm²
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 66cm

________________

Additional Info :

Formulas Related to Rectangle :

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( l + b)
  • Area = Length × Breadth
  • Length = Area / Breadth
  • Breadth = Area / Length
  • Diagonal = √(l)² + (b)²
