The length and breadth of a rectangle is 18 m. and 12 m. respectively. If the length is increased by 50% and breadth is decreased by 50% then find how much the area is increased / decreased of the new rectangle to the older one.​

now area=27×6 sq m=162 sq m

so area decreased by (216-162) sq m=54 sq m
