Ans.

The length and breadth have a ratio 5:2.
Let the common multiple be x.
So, length = 5x m and breadth = 2x m.

The perimeter of the rectangle be
2 × ( length + breadth)
= 2 × (5x + 2x) m
= 14x m.

Hence,
14x = 25000/12.5
or, 14x = 2000
or, x = 1000/7

So length is 5000/7 m and breadth is 2000/7 m.

Perimeter of rectangular piece of land=
Total cost of fencing /rate of fencing
=25000/12.5
=2000m^2

Let length be 5x, breadth be 2x
Perimeter of plot=2(l+b)
2000=2(5x+2x)
2000/2=7x
1000/7=x

Length =5x=5×1000/7=5000/7m
Breadth =2x=2×1000/7=2000/7m
