Given:

The length of the rectangular field = (l) = 4\dfrac{1}{5}\ m

And

The breadth of the rectangular field = (b) = 1\dfrac{3}{7}\ m

To be found:

Area of the rectangular field

The formula for finding the area of a rectangle

\pink{\boxed{\sf{length \times breadth\ unit^2}}}

Length (l) = \bf 4\dfrac{1}{5} = 4 \times 5 +1 = 20+1 = \dfrac{21}{5} m

And

Breadth (b) = \bf 1\dfrac{3}{7} = 7 \times 1+3 = \dfrac{10}{7}m

Now,

Area of the rectangular field

\bf = \dfrac{^3\not{21}}{\not{5}^1} \times \dfrac{^2 \not{10}}{\not{7}^1} \\ \\ \\ = 3 \times 2\\ \\ \\ = 6m^2

Hence,

The area of the rectangular field is \bf 6m^2.
