 \sf Answer

Length of a rectangular field = 400 m

Breadth of a rectangular field = 250 m

Area of rectangular field = Length × Breadth

Area of rectangular field = (400 × 250) m²

Area of rectangular field = 1,00,000 m²

If one plant requires area upto 156.25 m²

1 m² = 1/156.25 plants

100000 m² = 100000/156.25 plants = 640 plants

640 plants is the required answer
