Given:-

  • The length and breadth of a rectangular field are 50 m and 40 m respectively.

Have to Find :

  • Perimeter of the rectangle.

Solution:

As we know the formula for finding perimeter of rectangle.

Applying it here.

Perimeter → 2 ( l + b)

where,

" l " → length = 50 m

" b " → breadth = 40 m.

So, substituting the values, we get :

➹ 2( 50 + 40 )

➹ 2 × 90

180 m

Hence, The perimeter of rectangle is 180 m
