Answer:

₹ 600000

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find out the area of rectangular field,

Area = Length * Breadth

= 600m*400m

= 240000m square

Cost of planting grass in 1 metre square= ₹ 2.50

Required money= 2.50×240000

= ₹ 600000

To find : to find cost of grass to be planted in rectangular field.

Given : length = 600\ m and breadth = 400\ m

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that length and breadth  rectangular field is 600\ m and 400\ m respectively. To find cost of grass to be planted in rectangular field. We find area of field .
  • To find area we use following formula -

        Area of rectangular field =  l \times b

        Substituting the values we get,

  • Area of field  = 600\ m \times 400 \ m

                               = 240000 m^{2}

  • Now,

      Cost\  of \ grass \ to \ be\ planted  = area \ of \ field \ \times  rate\  per \ m^{2}

                                                   = 240000\  m^{2}  \times 2.50 Rs v\\= 600000Rs

Hence, cost of grass to be planted in rectangular field is 600, 000Rs.
