Given:
- Length of Rectangular field = 600 m
- Breadth of rectangular field = 400 m
To Find:
- Cost of grass to be planted in it at the rate of 2.50 rupee per m.
Solution:
✰ As we are given here Length and breadth of the Rectangular field. so, firstly we can find the area of the rectangular field, i.e Length × Breadth.
⟶ Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth
⟶ Area of Rectangle = 600 × 400
⟶ Area of Rectangle = 240000 m²
✰ We have get the required area of the Rectangular field. Now, we can find the required cost of grass to be planted at the rate of Rs. 2.50 per m.
⟶ Cost of grass per m = Rs. 2.50
⟶ Cost of grass per 240000 m = 240000 × 2.50
⟶ Cost of grass = Rs. 600,000
Hence,
- Cost of grass to be planted in it at the rate of 2.50 rupee per metre is 600,000.
