Given:

  • Length of Rectangular field = 600 m
  • Breadth of rectangular field = 400 m

To Find:

  • Cost of grass to be planted in it at the rate of 2.50 rupee per m.

Solution:

As we are given here Length and breadth of the Rectangular field. so, firstly we can find the area of the rectangular field, i.e Length × Breadth.

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of Rectangle = 600 × 400

Area of Rectangle = 240000 m²

We have get the required area of the Rectangular field. Now, we can find the required cost of grass to be planted at the rate of Rs. 2.50 per m.

Cost of grass per m = Rs. 2.50

Cost of grass per 240000 m = 240000 × 2.50

Cost of grass = Rs. 600,000

Hence,

  • Cost of grass to be planted in it at the rate of 2.50 rupee per metre is 600,000.
