The length and breadth of a rectangular field are in a ratio 7:4. The cost of fencing the field at rupees25 per metre is 3300. Find the dimension of the field

Let The Length = 7x

or breath = 4x

2(7x+4x)25 = 3300

50 × 11x = 3300

11x = 3300÷50

11x = 66

x = 66÷11

x = 6

Length = 7*6= 42cm

Breath = 4*6= 24cm

Let Ratio=7x & 4x

Fencing around it means on its sides Total sides length is PERIMETER

Cost of Fencing=₹25 per/m
Total Cost=₹3300
Perimeter=3300/25
=132 m

Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)
2(7x+4x)=132
2×11x=132
22x=132
x=132/22
x=6

Length=7x➡️6×7=42 m
Breadth=4x➡️4×6=24 m
