Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

let us assume the length (L) of rectangle is = 4x

and. breadth (B) of rectangle is = 3x

perimeter of the rectangle is = 2(L+B) = 2(4x+3x) =14x

according to question

perimeter of the field is = 350m

14x= 350m

x= 350/14

x= 25

then length = 4*25= 100m

and breadth = 3*25= 75m

area of rectangle is = L*B = 100*75= 7500m^2

cost of leveling the field of one meter square is = 35

then the cost of leveling the field of 7500 msaq. is= 35*7500 = 262500rs.

Let the length and breadth be 4x m and 3x m respectively.

Perimeter = 350 m.

Perimeter of rectangle

= 2(length+breadth) unit

According to condition,

2(4x+3x) = 350

or, 2×7x = 350

or, 14x = 350

or, x = 350/14

or, x = 25

So, length = 4x m = (4×25) m = 100 m

and breadth = 3x m = (3×25) m = 75 m.

Area = (length×breadth) unit²

= (100×75) m²

= 7500 m²

Cost of levelling = ₹ 5 per m².

Total cost = ₹ (5×7500)

= ₹ 37500.

Hence, the area of the field is 7500 m² and the cost of levelling it is ₹ 37500.

Hope this helps you to get to your answer.
