let the ratio be

3x:2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(l+b) = 250m

2(3x+2x) = 250m

2(5x) = 250m

5x = 125m

x = 25m

length =3(x)=3(25) = 75m

breadth = 2(x) = 50m

area = length × breadth

area = (75× 50) m^2

cost of repairing the field for 50 m^2 = ₹15

cost of repairing = 75 × 15

cost of repairing = ₹1125

Answer:

Let length be 3x and breadth be 2x.

Then, perimeter = 2(l+b)

= 2(3x + 2x) = 2(5x) = 10x

But given perimeter = 250

Therefore, 10x = 250

x = 25

So, length=3*25=75m

and breadth = 2*25 = 50m.

Now area of field = l x b = 75 x 50 = 3750 m²

cost of repairing 50m² field = Rs 15

cost of repairing 3750m² field = Rs (15 x 3750)/50

= Rs 1125
