Answer:

Explanation:

Given :

  • Length and breadth of a rectangular field are in the ratio 3:2.
  • Rate = Rs. 60 per meter

To Find :

  • Cost of fencing.

Solution :

Given that, Length and breadth of a rectangular field are in the ratio 3:2.

=> l = 3 m and b = 2 m

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangular field = 2(l + b)

=> Perimeter = 2(3 + 2)

=> Perimeter = 2(5)

=> Perimeter = 10 m

Now,

Cost of fencing = Perimeter × Rate

=> Cost of fencing = 10 × 60

=> Cost of fencing = Rs.600

Hence :

The cost of fencing of rectangular field is Rs. 600.
