Given :

  • The length and breadth of a rectangular field are in the ratio 3:2 .

  • The area of field is 1350cm²

To find :

  • Perimeter of the field.

Solution :

  • In the question it is given That the Length and breadth of the rectangular field are in Ratio is 3 : 2. and area is 1350cm²

  • By using the formula of area of rectangle we will get the sides of The Rectangle.

  • Then with the formula of Perimeter of Rectangle we will Get the required Perimeter.

✰ Let Length = 3x

✰ Breadth = 2x

✰ Area = 1350 cm²

Area of rectangle = L × B

➤ 1350 = 3x × 2x

➤ 1350 = 6x²

➤ x² = 1350/6

➤ x² = 225

➤ x = 15 cm

✰ Length = 3 × 15 = 45 cm

✰Breadth = 2 × 15 = 30 cm

Now, Finding its Perimeter

Perimeter = 2 (L + B)

➺ 2 (45 + 30)

➺ 2 × 75

Solution :

Given ,

  • Length and breadth of rectangular field are in the ratio 3 : 2 then

  • Let the Length be 3x
  • Let the breadth be 2x

And also Given ,

  • Area of rectangular field = 1350

As we know that,

  • Area of rectangle = length × breadth

》1350 = 3x × 2x

》1350 = 6x²

》x² = 1350/6

》x² = 225

》x = √225

》x = 15m

Then ,

  • Length = 3x = 3(15) = 45m
  • Breadth = 2x = 2(15) = 30m

Now we have to find the perimeter of field

As we know that,

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

where l is length 45m and b is breadth 30m

》2(length + breadth)

》2(45 + 30)

》2(75)

》150m

Hence , Perimeter of field is 150m
