perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
2(3x+2x)
2(5x)
10x =80
x=80/10=8
as given breadth = 2x
so on putting vale of x
2×8=16 m ans.
hope it works

Solution -

Let's assume the length as 3x meters

So, the breadth as 2x meters

According to Question,

[ ∵ Perimeter of rec. = 2(l + b) ]

Perimeter of rec. field = 80

⇒ 2(3x + 2x) = 80

⇒ 5x = 80/2 = 40

⇒ x = 40/5

⇒ x = 8

Measurements -

Length = 3x = 3(8) = 24 m

Breadth = 2x = 2(8) = 16 m

∴ The length and breadth of rectangular field are 24 m and 16 m respectively
