Let the length be 4x
the breadth be 3x
perimeter = 2(l+b)
1400 = 2 (4x + 3x)
1400 = 2 (7x)
1400 = 14x
1400 / 14 = x
100 = x
ans : length = 4x = 4×100 = 400 metres
