let the length of the rectangular field = 3x

let the breadth of the rectangular field = 2x

perimeter = 80m

perimeter of rectangular field = 2(l+b)

80 = 2(3x + 2x)

80 = 2(5x)

80 = 10x

80/10 = x

x = 8

length of rectangular field = 3 × 8 = 24

breadth of rectangular field = 2 × 8 = 16
