Solution:-

Question No. 1 :-

Given : Ratio of Length and Breadth = 2 : 5 and Area = 5290 sq m

So, according to the question.
Let the dimensions are 2x and 5x
Area of the rectangular Field = L × B
5290 = 2x × 5x
10x² = 5290
x² = 5290/10
x² = 529
x = √529
x = 23 m
So, the length of the field = 23 × 2 = 46 meter
and the breadth of the field = 23 × 5 = 115 meter
Perimeter of the rectangular field = 2 (L + B)
= 2 (46 + 115)
= 2 × 161
Perimeter = 322 meter
Now, total cost of fencing the field = 322 × 40
= Rs. 12880
Answer

Question No. 2 :-

Given :  Total cost of fencing a square field at Rs. 16 per meter is Rs. 32000
So, Perimeter of the square field = Total cost of fencing/cost per meter
= 32000/16
Perimeter of the square field = 2000 meter
Side of the square = Perimeter/4
= 2000/4
Side of the square = 500 m
Area of the square field = Side × Side
= 500 × 500
Area of the square field = 250000 sq m
Cost of ploughing the field = Rs. 25 per 100 square meter
So, total cost of ploughing the square field = (250000*25)/100
Total cost = Rs. 62500
