Given :

  • Length of a rectangular piece = 400 m.
  • Breadth of a rectangular piece = 250 m.

Have to Find :

The cost of the land at Rs. 1000 per m².

Solution :

Let's find out area of the land first

We know that,

It is in rectangular shape then,

Area = l ×b

Here,

Length = " l "

Breadth = " b "

Now, substitute both the values in the above formula.

A = 400 × 250

A = 100000m²

We now have , area of a rectangular park is 100000 m².

According to the Question

Cost of 1 m² of land = Rs. 1000

So, the cost of the rectangular piece = Area × Cost

100000 × 1000

= 100000000 Rs.

Therefore,

The cost of the land at Rs. 1000 per m² is Rs. 100000000.
