Answer:

Length = 50m

Breadth= 40

Area = Length×Breadth

Area= 50×40= 2000M

perimeter= 2(Length+breadth)

= 2(40+50)

180M

\implies Here, the question has given us the length and the breadth of a rectangular park that are 50 m and 40 m respectively. Now, the question has asked us to find out the perimeter and area of the rectangular park. So here we just have to apply the formula of perimeter of rectangle for perimeter and area of rectangle for area of that rectangular park.

ANSWER:-

◦ Perimeter of the rectangular park is 180 m.

◦ Area of the rectangular park is 2,000 m².

GIVEN:-

⟶ Length of the rectangular park = 50 m

⟶ Breadth of the rectangular park = 40 m

TO FIND:-

⇒ Perimeter of rectangular park = ?

⇒ Area of the rectangular park = ?

FORMULA:-

⟿ Perimeter = 2(L + B)

⟿ Area = L × B

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

  • Finding the perimeter:-

⟾ Perimeter = 2(50 m + 40 m)

⟾ Perimeter = 2 × 90 m

⟾ Perimeter = 2 × 90 m = 180 m

⟾ Perimeter = 180 m

Thus, the perimeter is 180 m.

  • Finding the area:-

⟾ Area = 50 m × 40 m

⟾ Area = 50 m × 40 m = 2,000 m²

⟾ Area = 2,000 m²

Thus, the area is 2,000 .
