Answer :-

  • Total Distance covered by the boy = 924m

To Find :-

  • Distance covered by the boy.

Given :-

  • Length and Breadth of rectangular park = 97.5 and 56.5 meters respectively.

  • Number of time the boy runs around of the park = 3

Step By Step Explanation :-

In this question first we will find the perimeter of rectangular park and then we will multiply it by 3 and that will be the total distance covered by the boy.

So let's do it !!

 \boxed{ \underline{ \mathfrak{ \green{Perimeter_{(Rectangle)} = 2(Length + Breadth)}}}}

Perimeter ⤵

 \implies \sf2(97.5 + 56.5) \\  \\  \implies \sf2 \times 154 \\  \\ \implies \sf 308 \: m

Now, the boy took 3 rounds.

 \sf3 \times 308 \: m \implies924 \: m

Therefore total distance covered by the boy = 924m
