The length and breadth of a rectangular park are in ratio 6:11. If the perimeter of the park is 170m, find the area of the park

let the length be 6y

and breadth be 11y

given perimeter is 170m

now, perimeter of rectangle is = 2(l+ b)

2(l+b)= 170

2(6y+11y)=170

34y= 170

y= 5

now length of park=6y= 6*5=30m

breadth=11y= 11*5=55m

Area of park= (l*b)

30*55 = 1650m
