The length and breadth of a rectangular park are in the ratio 3:2, and its perimeter is 160 m . Find the length of the park.​

Let the length and breadth of the park be 3x and 2x respectively.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

2( 3x + 2x) = 160

2 × 5x = 160

10x = 160

x = 16

Hence, length = 3×16 = 48 m

breadth = 2×16 = 32 m
