The cost of fencing at ₹24per metre
is ₹9600
Cost of fencing = Perimeter × rate
9600 = perimeter × 24
Perimeter = 9600/24
Perimeter = 400m
Now,
We know that,
Perimeter of rectangle =2(L+B)
Length = 5x =5(25) = 125m
Breadth =3x =3(25)=75m.
Therefore,
The length & breadth of the rectangular piece of land are 125m and 75m.
