Length and breadth 's ratio = 4:1

cost of fencing per meter = 50 rupees

So perimeter of ground = 5000/50 =100 meter

We know perimeter = length × breadth

let the length be x

=> 1x ×4x =100
=> 4x^2 = 100
=> x^2 =100/4
=> x^2 = 25
=> x= 5

substitution : -

(4×5)×(1×5) = 100

20×5 = 100

Hence ,

Length = 20 m

Breadth = 5 m

Answer:

answer is 40m

Step-by-step explanation:

let, the breadth of the playground be x

     length = 4x

perimeter of the playground = 2(l+b)

                                            = 2(4x+x)

                                            = 2(5x)

                                            = 10x

rate of fencing per m² = rs.50

rate of fencing per 10x m² = rs.5000 = 50×100

10x = 100

x = 10

∴beradth = 10m and length = 40m
