Here's your Answer...

Let the length and Breadth be 5x and 3x respectively.

=> Area of plot = l × b

=> 2940 = 5x × 3x

=> 2940 = 15x^2

=> x^2 = 2940/15

=> x^2 = 196

=> x = 13 m.

Length = 5x = 5 × 13 = 65m

Breadth = 3x = 3. × 15 = 45m.

Fencing a boundary means PERIMETER.

=> PERIMETER of plot = 2( l + b)

=> 2( 65 + 45)

=> 2 × 110

=> 220m.

Cost For fencing 1 m = 5.70

=> Cost for fencing 220 m = 220 × 5.70

=> 1254 Rupeee.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length:breath = 5:3.

Let, length = 5x

Breath = 3x

Area of the plot = l×b

2940 =5x × 3x

2940 = 15x^2

2940/15 = x^2

196 =x^2

_/196 =x

13m =x

Therefore, length=5x= 5×13 = 65m

Breadth= 3x = 3×13 = 39m

Perrimeter of the plot= 2 (l+b)

= 2 (65+39)

= 2 ×104

= 208m

Cost= rate×perimeter

= 5.70×208

= rs 1185.5
