the length and breadth of a rectangular plot are in the ratio 11:4. at the rate rupees 100/m it will cost 75000 rupees to fence the plot. find the dimension of the plot.​

Here the ratio of length to breadth is given 11:4

Let us assume the length to be 11x and breadth to be 4x

Then the perimeter of the rectangle will come out to be 30x

Now, cost of fencing is 100/m

The total cost of fencing is 75000

We will use the unitary method

Cost for 1 m = 100

cost for 30x = 75000

75000 = 3000x

x=\frac{75}{3}\\x=25

Therefore, length = 11x

                             = 11 × 25

                             =275

Breadth = 4x

              =4 ×25

               =100

Lenght and breadth will be 275 and 100 respectively.
