Perimeter of the rectangular plot= 2(l+b)

140= 2(4x+3x)

140= 8x+6x.

140= 14x

x= 140/14= 10

So his Length= 4x= 4×10=40 cm

Breadth= 3x= 3×10=30 cm

Area of the plot = l×b

= 40×30=1200 cm²
