Total cost of fencing the land at Rs 24per metre=9600

Therefore, the perimeter of the land = 9600÷24
=400

Let the length be 5x and breadth be 3x

Therefore, perimeter of the land= 2(l+b)

400=2(5x+3x)

400=16x

Therefore, x=400÷16

X= 25

area =125×75=9375 cm^2

THEREFORE, Length= 125 and breadth=75

let length be 5x and breadth be 3x
2 ( 5x+3x) = 16x is perimeter (2×[l+b])
perimeter = 9600/24 = 400
16x = 400
x= 25
length = 125m
breadth= 75m

Area = lb
= 125 × 75
= 9375 square metres.
