The length and breadth of a rectangular sheet of paper are 88 centimetre and 21 centimetre respectively. It is rolled along its length and a cylinder is formed. Find the total surface area of a cylinder.

Since it is said that that the cylinder is being rolled along the length, we can say after becoming a cylinder, the bottom portion= 21cm (breath)

So 2*22/7*r= 21
  44/7r = 21

Now find r from the following eqation after which, pt it in the formla:

TSA of a cylinder= 2 *22/7 * 21*44/7(r+h)

And the problem is solved :)
