the length and breadth of a room are 6 m and 4 m respectively. how many square metres of carpet are required to completely cover the floor of the room? if the carpet cost 240 per square metre how much will it cost to cover the entire room ?

Length = 6m
breadth =4m
area = L×B = 6×4 = 24m²
Cost of carpet of 1m² = 240
Cost of carpet of 24m² = 24×240 = Rs5760

To cover the floor we have to find the area of room.
Area=l*b
=4*6
=24m²
Cost to cover the floor=24*240
=5760
