Breadth of the room = 14m
Since it's a rectangle , all angles will be 90°
and according Pythagorean Theorem ,
(side 1)^2 + (side 2)^2 = (hypotenuse)^2
48^2 + 14^2 = (hypotenuse)^2
2304 + 196 = (hypotenuse)^2
2500 = (hypotenuse)^2
√2500 = hypotenuse
50 m = hypotenuse
here hypotenuse is only the diagonal .
So diagonal is 50m
