perimeter of rectangle = 2× (l+b)

= 2× (12+9)

=2×21

=42.

side of the square = 4 a

42 = 4 a

therefore ,

a = 42÷ 4

• Let's consider ABCD is a rectangle.

Where,

  • Length = 12cm
  • Breadth = 9cm

• Lets consider length be l.

« Now, Let's find perimeter,

→ Perimeter = 2( l + b)

→ 2( 12 + 9 )

→ 2(21)

42cm

⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

Now, Finding side of the square,

→ Square = Perimeter/4

42/4

→ 10.5cm

∴ Hence, Perimeter of the rectangle is 42cm & side of the square is 10.5cm.
