the length and breadth of rectangle are 5:2 and its perimeter is 98cm find the area of region bounded by rectangle ?

Given l=5x. ,b=2x As given ratios

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

98=2(5x+2x)

98=2(7x)

98=14x

x=7

Therefore l=5x=35

b=2x=14

Area=lxb

Area=35x14y=490
