Here it is given that the length and breadth of rectangular fied are 240 m amd 180 m respectively

Perimeter of rectangular fied

= 2 × [ Length + Breadth ]

= 2 × [ 240 + 180 ] m

= 2 × 420 m

= 840 m

Step 2 of 2 :

Find length of the rope

It is given that it is fenced with three round of a rope

Hence the required length of the rope

= 3 × Perimeter of rectangular fied

= 3 × 840 m

= 2520 m
