The length and breadth of the rectangular plot are in the ratio 5:3 . At the rate of rupees 20 per meter it will cost the rupees 6400 to fence the plot

Dimension of the plot​

$\bigstar$ Solution :

Let the perimeter of the rectangular plot be " P "

⇒ P * 20 = 6400

⇒ P = 320

So , Perimeter of the rectangular plot is 320 m

A/c , " the length and breadth of the rectangular plot are in the ratio 5 : 3 "

So the length & breadth of the rectangular field is 5x & 3x respectively .

We know that , " Perimeter of the rectangular field is twice the addition of length and breadth "

⇒ P = 2 ( length + breadth )

⇒ 320 = 2 ( 5x + 3x )

⇒ 320 = 16x

⇒ x = 20

So , Length of the rectangular field = 5x = 100 m

Breadth of the rectangular field = 3x = 60 m
