Let the length and breadth of the parkbe 5x and 2x
its area= 5x×2x=10x^2
now length of outer rectangle = 5x + 2×2.5=5x+5
breadth of outer rectangle =2x+2×2.5=2x+5
area of outer rectangle =(5x+5)(2x +5)
. =10x^2+35x+25
area of the path=ar (outer rectangle )- ar (the park)
350m2=10x^2+35x+25-10x^2
350 . =35x+25
350-25=35x
325/35=x
Now,
length =5×325/35
breadth =2×325/35
its area= 5x×2x=10x^2
now length of outer rectangle = 5x + 2×2.5=5x+5
breadth of outer rectangle =2x+2×2.5=2x+5
area of outer rectangle =(5x+5)(2x +5)
. =10x^2+35x+25
